Pregnancy Planning

We offer a comprehensive health check program tailored for women preparing for motherhood. This program includes visits to three specialists: an obstetrician-gynecologist, a dentist, and a therapist.

Within the “General gynecology” field, the clinic provides the following services for patients who want to conceive:

• infertility treatment;

• hysterosalpingography — an X-ray procedure that is used to see if fallopian tubes are blocked;

• genetic counseling. 

Pregnancy Care

“Scandinavia” also provides assistance to pregnant women in the following areas:

• treatment of pregnancy complications in an outpatient facility;

• prenatal care;

• creating comfortable and safe conditions for childbirth;

• postnatal care.

Clinic consultations facilitate coordinated patient care among multiple specialists within a single healthcare facility.

Ultrasound

During the consultation, the doctor may perform an ultrasound examination of the pelvic organs using vaginal and/or transabdominal probes.
 

Using a specialized technique known as HyCoSy (hystero-salpingo contrast sonography), doctors can determine if a patient has any blockages in their fallopian tubes or additional tissue inside the uterus. This equipment helps detect even the slightest deviation in the health of both the mother and the baby.

Doppler ultrasound

This is a type of ultrasound diagnostic technique that examines blood flow characteristics in the fetus and uterine vessels. According to medical recommendations, it is performed even during a normally progressing pregnancy. However, Doppler ultrasound is particularly crucial in cases of fetal abnormalities, maternal pathologies (such as gestational diabetes, hypertension, and the risk of developing preeclampsia), and Rh incompatibility.

Laboratory Tests 

“Scandinavia” clinic network offers a comprehensive range of laboratory tests for pregnant women. The diagnostics recommended by the doctor help identify autoimmune diseases and the patient's genetic predisposition to pregnancy complications.

Treatment and Prevention of Specific Conditions 

During the consultation, the gynecologist, in collaboration with the hematologist, will formulate a treatment plan to correct changes in the patient's blood clotting. This will serve as a preventive measure against serious pregnancy complications. 

If necessary, pregnant women can receive consultations and treatment in an outpatient setting or, based on indications, in the 24-hour inpatient department.
